Monopoly Game Boards To Include Real Money

Have you ever been playing Monopoly and thought to yourself, 'I wish this was REAL money?' Well, if you can get your hands on an 80th anniversary edition of the French Monopoly, you may just get a box filled with real Euros! Hasbro announced that they will put actual cash in 80 boxes of the classic family game and one of those will have up to 20,580 euros, which is a little more than $20,000 of American money. The other 79 game boards will contain a bank with real money mixed with the fake bills.

Can you imagine opening up a board game and finding a small fortune inside? Yes, I would consider $20,000 a small fortune. This is definitely a smart marketing idea for the board game giants. The only question is when will America see this kind of promotion?
