Many communities in the Mohawk Valley saw temperatures close to, if not over 50 degrees this past weekend.  According to weather.com, we could be close to that mark again by Wednesday, and the mercury could even rise higher for Thursday, with 60 degrees a good possibility.

That is far above normal for late February, where the average high for this time of year sits at about 35.  The weather service says that winds will shift and come from the south, pushing the warmer air into the Central New York area.

The latest forecast is calling for high in the upper 50's, with some rain expected for Friday and Saturday, before the normal temperatures return for Sunday.  At this time, we have no snow on the horizon for at least the next several days.
