Mohawk Valley Classic This Saturday
January 17, 2013 10:36 AM Ice skating is a popular sport in the Utica-Rome area, and the Skating Club of New Hartford is holding its annual Mohawk Valley Classic this Saturday. Over 100 competitors from the local area and throughout the northeast will take to the ice in the day-long event. (Photo not from local competition).

“Our Annual Mohawk Valley Classic Competition will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the New Hartford Recreation Center from 8:00am to 8pm.
There is no admission fee. Everyone is welcome to attend. Come support our local skaters as well as some traveling from other states and Canada.
Our Meyda Showcase Events start around 12 noon where the skaters not only show off their skating ability but also their artistic and creative talents. During the showcase
events you can vote for your favorite showcase number with our “Peoples Choice” awards.”
