Most of central New York is under a flood watch until Saturday and area lakes, ponds, rivers and creeks are already close to flowing over.

The Mohawk River at Pinti Field is close to flooding the park in Rome. Matt Moore captured the river close to the flooding stage.

Roads are washed out in several areas throughout central New York. Basements and yards are getting flooded as well.

Although we get a break from the rain today, more is the forecast for Thursday and Friday.
