Model and Actor Greg Plitt Killed By Train
The Bravo TV family is mourning the loss of 'Work Out' star Greg Plitt. He was killed Saturday by a train in Burbank California. Plitt was only 37 years old.
'We can say that this definitely was not a suicide. There was some sort of filming happening at the time of the incident, but where not sure exactly what was being filmed,' Sgt. Chris Canales of the Burbank Police Department told Access Hollywood.
Fitness model Jamie Easton says Plitt was killed while filming a spot for his protein shake.
Police say they will continue to investigate, interviewing witnesses and looking at security camera footage.
'According to several eyewitnesses, the conductor did see Mr. Plitt standing on the tracks, and sounded the train's whistle several times prior to impact. Unfortunately, he did not move out of the way of the train. There was a security camera close to where the accident occurred. Detectives will be looking at that footage as part of their investigation into what happened.'
His friends and TV family shared their condolences and shock on social media.
This is a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Greg Plitt's family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

We couldn't take our eyes off Greg Plitt after we cast him on "Work Out"-was as nice as he was beautiful. Seemed invincible, like Superman

In addition to starring in Bravo's 'Work Out,' Plitt was moving into the movie business, starring in 'Grudge Match' with Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro.
Before his acting career, Plitt served as a Ranger for five years after graduating from West Point in 2000.
