Miranda Lambert's tour has been put on hold.  In an announcement on her web site, Miranda says a respiratory infection has led doctors to order complete rest.

“I was very much looking forward to Australia with Alan Jackson and performing for all the music lovers down under”, said Lambert.

Miranda was scheduled to be the opening act for Alan Jackson on his Australian tour.  The bad news comes on the heels of great news.  She started the "Revolution Continues" tour with two sold out shows at the famous Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, Texas.  She was the first artist to ever sell out back to back nights at the legendary nightclub.  Miranda's next US tour date is the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show March 16.  Read more here.
