The split between country's cutest couple may have come as a shock to some, but others closer to Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton may have seen it coming. Two days before they announced their divorce after 4 years of marriage, Lambert broke down on stage. She asked the crowd at Cheyenne Frontier Days concert in Wyoming to help her with 'The House That Built Me.'

"The last thing anyone wants to do is cry in front of 19,000 people. I bet you know the song, so y'all sing it for me. It starts with 'Mamma cut out pictures.' Can you do that for me?" Lambert asked the crowd. Sing they did, every word, as Lambert stood on stage with tears streaming down her face.

Shelton filed for divorce weeks ago and the papers have already been signed according to TMZ.

The couple released a statement to the Associated Press, saying "this is not the future we envisioned."

"It is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

Since a pre-nup was signed before the wedding, splitting the bank accounts isn't an issue. Shelton will get the Oklahoma ranch and Lambert keeps the Nashville home.
