New York Mets manager Terry Collins has set his starting rotation for the World Series.

Matt Harvey will toe the rubber when the Mets open the World Series in Kansas City on Tuesday (FOX, 8 p.m.). Jacob deGrom, Noah Syndergaard and Steven Matz will follow in that order.

It would seem that all talk of Harvey's innings-limit, and the idea that he would only pitch once per series in the playoffs, have faded in favor of the team allowing their bulldog to, well, be their bulldog.

Unless the Mets or Royals sweep, one would expect Harvey to be in line to take the ball in Game 5. The 26-year-old, who is pitching in his first season back from Tommy John surgery, started Game 3 of the opening round when the Mets and Dodgers went five in the NLDS. He started the opener of the Championship Series and surely would have started at least once more had the Mets not swept the Cubs.
