Sometimes our "Country Classic Double", weekdays at 11:30 a.m. has a historic note. Today, we feature the number one song in the country back in 1969…Merle Haggard’s “Okie From Muskogee”. The song stressed old-time values, which prompted the pop group the Youngbloods  to respond with its rock hit “Hippie for Olema”.
