Melanie Amaro of ‘The X-Factor’ Is The One To Beat After Singing ‘Desperado’ [VIDEOS]

The 'X-Factor' contestants fates are now in the hands of America. The Top 12 sang last night for viewer votes. And we heard everything from rap, to country.
Melania Amaro
Desperado
Melania Amaro is the contestant that had Simon Cowell admitting he made a mistake when he let her go. Now he's saying she's the one to beat. Last week she killed a Whitney Houston song. This week she did something a little different and sang 'Desperado.' And she nailed it. I don't know about you, but I agree with Simon, she's the clear front runner.
Lakoda Rayne
Lakoda Rayne who is on Paula Abdul's team took on The Dixie Chick's 'Landslide.' The 4 girl band looked fantastic and their harmonies were good, but I don't know if they'll be around for long. They just seem to get lost among all the fantastic talent.
LeRoy Bell
I'm Already There
The country continued with LeRoy Bell, who is one of the oldest in the competition. There were moments in the song that were fantastic, but there were also a few times he fell flat. Which is a shame because Leroy has a great voice and it's a great song by Lonestar. I don't know if it was enough to keep him around another week.
Brian Bradley
'Astro'
Brian 'Astro' Bradley is one of the smallest in the competition with one of the biggest egos. Although I'm not a fan of rap or of cockiness, there is just something about this kid. He writes all his own material and owns the stage every time he performs. Its hard to believe he's only 14 and is that good already.
Rachel Crow
Walking on Sunshine
Rachel Crow is the cutest thing to hit the X-Factor stage. She may only be 14 but she's so full of life. And she can sing her little heart out. My guess is, she'll be around for awhile.
Stacey Francis
Up To the Mountain
Stacey Francis closed the show with a gospel song. She seems to be an early favorite in the competition but I find she screeches a lot. Sometimes less is more. But you can be the judge.
