Mayor’s Quality Of Life Sweep Heads To West Utica
During the “Frog Days Of Summer”, the mayor of Utica has been conducting “Quality Of Life Sweeps” in the city. It’s all part of an effort to keep the city clean and more attractive.

Here are the details on today’s “Clean Sweep” from our sister station, WIBX:
“It’s Wednesday and that means Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri will be hitting the streets again. The mayor’s latest Quality of Life Sweep was to begin at noon at the corner of Oswego and Francis Streets.
Palmieri will be joined by city department heads, Codes Department staff and public works and DPW crews.
This will be Palmieri’s 18th straight Quality of Life Sweep.
He promises a sweep every week until the snow flies.”
