Martina McBride is teaming up with the NFL to support the fight against breast cancer.  She'll sing the Star Spangled Banner before the Jets/Ravens game Sunday night to kick off the NFL's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.

You'll notice pink ribbons on the footballs and goal posts.  Pink coins will even be used for the coin toss and players will have pink on their uniforms.  The Sunday night 'Pink' game is the first in a series throughout the month of October.

It's nice to see everyone in the NFL supporting such a great cause.  I've always wondered what those big strapping men would look like in pink.  Although, maybe Joe Flacco should position his pink attire this year, somewhere that doesn't look so strange.  It kind of looks like a pink jock strap on the outside of his uniform.  If calling attention to Breast Cancer was his goal, he definitely caught my attention.

Martina is no stranger to breast cancer awareness.  The video for her new song 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It' features breast cancer survivors, including Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts.  She's also taking part in the Grand Ole Opry's breast cancer awareness campaign where she'll heading the Opry goes pink concert.

Plus, there's no one better to sing the National Anthem than Martina.  She does the best rendition I've ever heard.  Check out her killing it at the AFC game last year.  And you can see her on NBC Sunday night at 8:30.  It'll be a night of country since Faith Hill sings the anthem 'Waitin' All Day For Sunday Night' too.
