Marcy Mom Diagnosed with Leukemia in Remission

Amy Morrissey is the Marcy mom who is beloved by many in her family, circle of friends, and regular customers at Applebee's in New Hartford. Amy is a mom and bartender who thought she had the flu, but instead got the surprise of her life. Now, she's doing well and it's because of her bravery and the support of those people in her life and beyond.

It was earlier this year that this mother of four and grandmother of one was not feeling great. What she believed to be the flu turned out to be Leukemia. That was enough to put her in the hospital for more than 6 weeks. After a tough battle and heavy doses of chemotherapy, Morrissey found out that she is in remission and will recover well.
