Man Uses First Class Ticket To Eat For Free For Over A Year At The Airport

Can you imagine waiting for your flight and realizing you get a free meal. That might give you a huge smile before boarding a plane right? One passenger took this to a whole new level by receiving free meals from his first class airline ticket for OVER a year. 

Mental Floss reports that one man purchased a first-class, fully refundable ticket, aboard the Eastern China Airline that came with access to a VIP lounge at Xi’an International Airport. At this lounge, first class ticket holders are able to enjoy a free meal.

For almost a year, he came to the airport, enjoyed his free food, and then rescheduled his flight for the following day, only returning to enjoy another complimentary meal."

He was able to pull this off over a year! Over 300 free meals! Can you believe it?  Eastern China Airlines officials noticed something when the same ticket was re-booked over 300 times. Really? Maybe after a dozen times shouldn't a red flag go off to someone? Officials confronted the man and he returned the ticket for a full reimbursement. No jail time, but plenty of free meals.
