Maintenance Concern Shuts Down Staley Elementary In Rome

As most kids head back to school in central New York, some get a few more days off. Staley Elementary in Rome is closed today (9/6) and tomorrow (9/7).

The district made the announcement on their website and Facebook page Wednesday night.

The reason given for the closing was a maintenance concern.

Even though the school is closed employees still have to work. Staley Elementary staff are asked to report to RFA.
