Madison-Oneida BOCES Anti-Bullying ‘Groovy Project” To Be Featured On ABC’s “20-20″

Last May we told you about the Madison-Oneida BOCES anti-bullying video “Groovy Project”. The middle and high school kids teamed up with successful Broadway producer Jennifer Maloney-Prezioso and recording artist NateKid to put together a high energy musical production that stressed acceptance and discouraged bullying. Now the video and its message is garnering national attention via a segment of the ABC news magazine “20-20″. Amanda Larson, Administrator for the Alternative Education High School and Special Programs, was interviewed by producers of the show this week as were some a number of staff and students involved in the project. The segment is tentatively scheduled to air next Friday, September 28. Congratulations to the kids and staff at Madison-Oneida BOCES for a job well done!
