The 89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is almost here! This is everything you need to know - from how to see the parade, what floats will be featured, and everything in between.

It's a tradition that grows every year - the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. The parade is sure to bring all the usual fun of the floats, clowns, balloons, performances, and of course, Santa Claus. So are you planning on catching the parade? Maybe watching it with the family before that big Thanksgiving dinner? Well, this is everything you need to know.

 

-The parade will start at 9am - If you're watching it from home, the broadcast will be on NBC.

-Some of the performances and appearances include Andy Grammer, Pat Benatar, Mariah Carey, Daughtry, The Plain White T's, Rachel Platten, Jordin Sparks, and tons of others.

-You can also expect to see performers from Cirque du Soleil and even some of the characters from Sesame Street.

-There's some new features to this year's parade. According to PIX 11,

Four new giant characters will join the parade procession including Angry Birds’ Red, DINO the mascot for Sinclair Oil, Ice Age’s Scrat and his Acorn, and a new version of Ronald McDonald.

-Other favorites that will return include Hello Kitty, Snoopy, the Elf on the Shelf, Spongebob Squarepants, and many, MANY others.
