Loud Cell Phone Talker Taken Off Train, Arrested

The old rock and roll song “You Talk Too Much” could well have been written about Lakeysha Beard who was taken off an Oakland to Salem, Oregon train and charged with disorderly conduct when she refused to stop talking loudly on her cell phone in one of the trains designated “quiet” cars. She also reportedly became abusive towards others passengers who asked her to keep it down. How long was she talking you ask?

Would you believe almost 16 hours nearly non-stop? Amtrak has designated certain of it’s coach cars as “quiet” zones with numerous signs reminding people that cell phone conversations are not aloud. (Pun intended) A GREAT idea if you ask me.
