Lonesome Dove, the CNY band that you overwhelming chose to perform at FrogFest almost had a FrogFest baby.

Todd Lozo and Chris Juliano, 2 of the 5 band members joined us in the studio. Bass player Kevin Dundon planned to be there too but his wife went into labor, thankfully a few days early. "Actually her due date was June 10th,"says Todd. "We were all worried. We tried to induce labor at band practice."

Logan William Dundon was born at 1:28 pm. he was 8lb 13.9 ounces and 21 1/2 in tall. "He looks like me," says Kevin. "Blond hair. Blue eyes. Everything but the Mohawk."

With baby worries out of the way, Lonesome Dove is ready to rock the FrogFest stage Saturday, June 10th. And this isn't just the second year they've has taken the stage at the Utica Rome Speedway. "This is my 5 time playing," says Todd. "We played 3 times in a row back in the 90s."

Lonesome Dove has been together for years, gathering fans across CNY but Lozo says he's been doing music since he was 8. "It was 1976 and we were called The Hops. We did the playground circuit. I'm not kidding. We played all the playground and they the big playground bash at Russell Park in Ilion."

"What was the cover back then?" joked Chris. "A box of crayons."

The guys are ready. They were practicing for their FrogFest set in Lozo's garage last night. "I want to give a shout out to my neighbors for putting up with us on a Sunday night."

What will they start their set with? "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me," by Keith Urban.

Lonesome Dove will be at the Cowboy Saloon in Destiny USA Friday, June 9th and they'll have FrogFest tickets to give away before FrogFest, June 10th.
