Here are the details from our sister station, WIBX:

"The Whitestown Police Benevolent Association is conducting a Toy Drive for the families of the victims and the surviving school children in the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

You can drop off new unwrapped toys, games, books or even monetary donations anytime at the Whitestown Police Department on Clark Mills Road.

Those wishing to make monetary donations can make checks out to “Sandy Hook School Support Fund.”

Members of a number of local PBA’s and Fire Departments will spend the week collecting the donated items and packaging them for the trip to Newtown, Connecticut on Friday morning."
