Local Gas Prices Going Down
With Memorial Day is just a couple of weeks away, we’ll be doing more driving to the beach or that vacation destination. The good news is that central New York gas prices are going down.

According to our sister station, WIBX:
“AAA’s Ed Welsh says the average price for a gallon of gas in the Utica-Rome market is $3.98 a gallon, down 7-cents from last week and 15-cents over four weeks.
Welsh says crude oil prices have dropped $9 a barrel in one week, leading to the decline at the pumps.
Welsh says prices peaked at $4.17 a gallon on April 17th and have been going down ever since.”
