It's been a long time since New York Knicks basketball fans have had something to cheer about, but now they've found a new hero in Jeremy Lin, who has seemingly gone from no one to a rising superstar over night.

Last night Lin did it again, sinking a game-winning three-pointer with less than a second remaining to give the Knicks a 90-87 win over the Toronto Raptors.  Lin scored 27 points, including six late in the game to help lift the Knicks to victory. Lin's latest heroics come after he scored a career-high 38 points against the Lakers on Friday and a five-game streak of scoring at least 20 points.

Lin was recently in town to support his brother. He cheered him on during a game at Hamilton College this past weekend.
