The holidays are fast approaching - Get into the spirit by visiting Wegmans "Lights on the Lake," on the shore of Onondaga Lake.

About an hour west of us, a beautiful holiday experience is coming together - Filled with music, Christmas lights and displays, and of course holiday cheer. "Lights on the Lake" opens Wednesday, November 16th and runs through Sunday, January 8th. You can see all the spectacular lights anytime between 5pm and 10pm throughout those dates.

So what can you expect at "Lights on the Lake?"

Well, first of all you'll have A LOT of lights and displays to look at. When we say a lot, we mean it's a two-mile drive throughout the park, just lined with animated scenes, twinkling lights, and special themed displays - Like the "Under the Sea" section or the "Fantasy Forest." Oh, there will also be a "Land of Oz" display you can check out. Plus, you can open your windows while driving through and hear the holiday music to get you into the spirit even more.

Cost is $10 per car Monday through Thursday, and $15 per car Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There is an extra charge for minibuses and motor coaches. You can get more details on pricing, discounts, and special events "Lights on the Lake" will be holding during the season, by visiting their website here.
