Our latest Farm Hands visit was similar to a walk back in time. The Walker Family Farm in North Brookfield is the true definition of "family farm." Running for 6 generations, the origins date back to the 1920's.

Josh Walker and many family members milk 30 head of cows, produce LOTS of honey each winter and till several hundred acres.  Meanwhile Josh juggles being the Madison County Fair President and Assistant Chief of North Brookfield's Fire Department. Despite that huge list of "things to do," the family still found time to let Polly drive a tractor, climb a silo and get kicked by a cow while Tad was busy playing with "Paul," a young bull that was glad to see him leave.

The Walker family received tickets to FrogFest July 23rd at the Utica Rome Speedway, presented by White’s Farm Supply and a $50 White’s Farm Supply gift card. They also go into the grand prize drawing for VIP FrogFest tickets and 100 hour rental from White’s Farm Supply. Nominate your farm below.
