Once every four years in the Gregorian Calendar, a day is added at the end of February to synchronize with the solar year. A leap year is any year with 366 days instead of the usual 365 days.

    Those born on the leap year day are called leapling. It's said they have unique, unusual talents and personalities. They also get to choose their birthday, February 28th, or March 1st, so during a leap year, they can celebrate twice.
