Lauren Alaina Escapes Elimination – Jacob Lusk Sent Home on Idol [VIDEOS]

Hillary Scotty finally got her time on the Idol stage.  She tried out twice for the show and never made it.  But last night, Lady Antebellum sang their new song "Just a Kiss" on American Idol.  After the entertainment, Ryan Seacrest got down to business by seperating the Top 5.  James Durbin and Haley Reinhart on one side of the stage, Jacob Lusk and Lauren Alaina on the other.  Scotty McCreery was left and was the first to learn he was safe for another week.  We also learned, Scotty has never been in the bottom two.  This week it was Jacob and a tearful Lauren in the bottom.  In the end, it was Jacob sent packing.

The Top 4 go head to head next Wednesday on FOX.  Can Lauren step up her game and not let her nerves get the best of her?  Can Haley top her version of "The House of the Rising Sun?"  Will Scotty and James stay on top?  Tune in next week at 8 to find out
