Spring may begin tomorrow, but someone should tell Mother Nature.  A late storm is bringing snow and sleet to the area, causing school closings and delays, along with several accidents this morning.

Oneida and Madison counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 2 this afternoon with 4 to 6 inches of snow expected.  According to the National Weather Service, light snow with light freezing rain and sleet will continue until late morning.

Northern Oneida County could see a little more snow and is under a Winter Storm Warning until 5 tonight. Mohawk, the Western and Southern Adirondacks could see as much as an inch of snow an hour this morning, with accumulations reaching 6 to 10 inches.

Herkimer County is also under a Winter Storm Warning until 8 tonight with heavy snow expected.  The area could 8 to 12 inches when all is said and done.

Here's a look at the weather map.  Looks like snow across the region.
