She’s Francis Bavier, Aunt Bea from the Andy Griffith Show. There are many tales about her dislike for Andy Griffith on the show. He even admitted he never knew why, but for some reason she had a strong dislike for him.
According to Griffith (Larry King Live, April 24, 1998), Bavier phoned him four months before she died, and said she was deeply sorry for being “difficult” during the series’ run.
