Working in radio, we receive a lot of perks.  From concert tickets and backstage passes, to CD's and autographed pictures.  Today, I received one of the coolest perks I've seen in awhile.  Kix Brooks, who's working on a solo career since Brooks & Dunn broke up, found a unique way to promote his new song 'Moonshine Road.'  He sent a bottle of wine from his Arrington Vineyard. He also included an autographed card that read 'Take a little sip, take a little trip down Moonshine Road.'

The song is the story of Kix's life.  It's also unlike anything else on the radio today.  The catchy blues sounding tune will make you feel like you're in the deep south.  Taste of Country gave the song four out of five stars.  Give it a listen and tell us what you think.

I hope Kix's wine is as good as his new single that is on his album 'New to This Town.'  I'm also glad he sent wine instead of moonshine.  I don't know if I could drink that.
