Upstate New York's Finger Lakes region has some of the most celebrated wineries in the country.  Each lake has distinct wineries.  This article takes a look at the Southwestern-most of the Finger Lakes: Keuka Lake.

Keuka Lake stretches from Penn Yan to Hammondsport, and unlike the other long and narrow Finger Lakes, Keuka  is shaped like a Y and includes a west branch that extends to Branchport.

New York State Route 54 traverses the eastern shore of the lake while Touring Route 54A hugs the western shore.

The Keuka Lake Wine Trail encompasses seven wineries that line the lake.

Roughly clockwise around the lake the wineries you encounter are:

Barrington Cellars in Penn Yan

Ravines Wine Cellars in Hammondsport

Heron Hill Winery in Hammondsport

and Hunt Country Vineyards in Branchport
