Kenny Rogers Autobiography and Other Tidbits

I thought you might appreciate a few country news updates about some of our favorite performers, starting with legendary Kenny Rogers.

* Kenny Rogers is writing his autobiography. He tells MSN, "The older I get, the more interesting my life used to be. I also realized if I don't do it now, I may forget it all." The book should be out in the fall.

* Kris Kristofferson has joined the lineup for the Stagecoach Music Festival this weekend in Indio, California.

* Neal McCoy, who's been announced as Blake Shelton and Miranda Lamber's wedding singer, has signed a new record deal with Blaster Records. He's working on his 11th studio album, which is scheduled for a January release.`

* Congratulations to Jerrod Niemann, who's earned his second digital gold single in eight months. "What Do You Want From Me" was just certified today. His first number-one, "Lover, Lover," went gold in August.
