There have been a lot of changes in Kelly Clarkson's life lately in relation to her wedding to Brandon Blackstock, who is Blake Shelton's manager and Reba McEntire's stepson.

The couple called off their original plans for a big, splashy ceremony, saying they would instead eventually elope and swap vows on a more intimate scale. One thing that probably hasn't changed? The date. It looks like Clarkson and Blackstock will get married this weekend.

Astute fans will recall that her Save the Date invites revealed a date of Oct. 20 -- that's this Sunday.

E! reports that the duo secured their marriage license in the Nashville area on Tuesday (Oct. 15). Clarkson and Blackstock showed up in person to obtain the document, as required by law.

The license is only valid for 30 days from the date it's issued, so it wouldn't shock us if the couple's big day turned out to be this weekend. Clarkson has a taping for her Christmas special at the end of the month, so she has limited time to get the deed done, so to speak!

The singer is said to be wearing a Temperley dress when she and Blackstock wed. We wish the couple the best and can't wait to see photos!
