The front row is not necessarily the best seat in the house at a Keith Urban concert.  He's set up stages all over the place for his 'Get Closer' tour.

I was fortunate enough to attend his show in Albany Saturday where there were stages on the right and left sides to allow Keith to perform a song or two to the crowds on each side of the stadium.  There was also a round, rotating stage in the center of the floor that rose about 10 feet in the air.  If that wasn't enough, he also managed to make it through the crowd to sing up in the cheap seats.  After the song he signed his guitar and gave it to a fan standing in front of him.  How Keith walked through a massive crowd of adoring fans, not once but twice, without getting attacked was amazing.

Plus Keith brought fans on stage to sing "Kiss A Girl."  Whoever did the best job on his song got to be center stage to sing with Keith!  That guy will have a memory he'll never forget.  I hope his friends took lots of picures.

Jake Owen opened the show with a bang.  He was not only all the over the stage, but down in the crowd as well.  And until you hear Owen live you don't realize how well that man can really sing.

Check out photos of the show.  If you missed it, you can still catch the tour when it stops in Buffalo September 8th.
