Keith Urban returns to Syracuse, bringing his 'Rip Cord World Tour' to Syracuse. He'll kick off the 2016 New York State Fair at the Lakeview Amphitheater stage Thursday August 25th, opening day for the fair.

Brett Eldredge and newcomer Maren Morris will open the show.

Ticket details have not been announced but many Rip Cord World Tour concerts go on sale January 29th.

Miranda Lambert christened the Lakeview Amphitheater stage last summer. The concert brought in a profit of only a few thousand dollars but also brought in thousands of visitors to the Syracuse area who put money back into the local economy.

"I’m seriously chomping at the bit to kick off this tour. We’ll be playing a lot of new music from RipCORD, all new production, new cities where we’ve never played … and Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris? It’s gonna be potent and unbridle," Urban said in a press release.
