New York's 2nd largest livestock show begins this Sunday in Cooperstown.  The Annual Junior Livestock Show has been presented by the Farmer's Museum and Cornell Cooperative Extension since 1947.  It's free and open to the public.

Over 300 4-H members from a nine county area will be competing in shows with their dairy cattle, beef cattle, dairy goats, sheep and swine July 12-14.  A chicken bbq kicks off the event at 5 p.m. on Sunday evening followed by an ice cream social.  The parade of champions wraps up the event at 2:30 on Tuesday. The show is held at the Iroquois Farm Showgrounds, 1527 County Highway 33 Cooperstown.
