Josh Turner Praises “Idol” Sound-A-Like Scotty McCreery
Josh Turner has become an "American Idol" fan. Josh--well known for his deep bass vocals--has been channeled by 16-year old Scotty McCreery whose performances of Josh's hit songs "Your Man" and "Long Black Train" have landed him among the finalists.
“I got the link to Scotty's audition the other night,” he says. “I am honored he would choose to sing one of my songs and I'm impressed by his voice and his character. I'll definitely be pulling for him! Maybe he'll sing my new single in Hollywood? Totally kidding.”
Josh--our FrogFest 2010 special guest--has also benefited from young Scotty's exposure on "Idol". According to his website the number of "Josh Turner" searches has exploded since McCreery started doing his songs.
