Hollywood came to Little Falls as John Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt took over Main Street to film 'A Quiet Place.' They also took time to take selfies with fans.

Andy House is a big fan of Krasinski and The Office so he took the day off to spend a few hours on the set. "Seeing the crew prepare the set was really interesting. A lot of time and effort went into it."

Mother Nature made for a cold day for House, but he says it was exactly what Krasinski and his crew wanted. "They were looking for that type of weather for the film. Not sunny and cool." Central New York in the Fall is perfect for what they needed.

The movie's plot has been kept under wraps and House says watching filming hasn't given him any clues. "I know it's a supernatural thriller. But that's really all I know. I can't wait to see it and find out more about it."

Several streets will remain closed today. Little Falls Mayor Mark Blask says once shooting is complete the streets will reopen. Main, Ann, Second and Williams will be closed from 6:00 a.m. until noon.

"Everyone involved with the movie has been incredibly complimentary about Little Falls." says Blask. "They love seeing everyone out watching them work -- I saw several times throughout the day where John Krasinski and Emily Blunt went over and took selfies and signed a lot of autographs for folks who came out."

Krasinski spent time in Little Falls, scouting the area for filming in August. 'A Quiet Place' is expected to be released April 6, 2018 according to IMDB.com.
