Joey Feek would have turned 41 on Friday (Sept. 9). The singer — one half of the duo Joey + Rory — died in March, but her husband was sure to honor her with a hauntingly beautiful flashback video, which he shared on Instagram.

The clip shows a special moment the couple shared with their toddler daughter Indy right before a show last September, about six months before Joey's death. The family is seen with their arms around each other rehearsing before taking the stage. A whole lot of love is obvious in this sneak peek into their life, where they're doing what they love the most: singing.

"Backstage with Indy just before a concert here in our barn last September," Feek captioned the tribute to his wife. "In the past year, everything has changed and in another way, nothing's changed at all. I'm still yours and you're mine. Happy 41st birthday my love."

Joey passed away on March 4, 2016 after battling cancer for much of the last two years. A film about the singer's life comprised of homemade videos provided by Rory is slated to premiere in theaters on Sep. 20. To Joey, With Love begins before the birth of the couple's daughter in winter of 2014 and goes through the following spring of 2015.

"They got to see Joey die. To see her face death bravely and pass to the other side with honor,” Rory writes in his blog, This Life I Live. “But I’d like for people to have the chance to see my wife live. To see the incredible woman that she was before the doctors said there was nothing more they could do ... so they can better understand the amazing impact she’s had on me and everyone around her after she learned that the end was coming."
