There's a "JetBlue" Facebook page circulating offering free flights for an entire year. But the promotion is a scam.

Winters can be harsh in Central New York, and many of us want to escape the snow and ice by flying away to a warmer place. Perhaps you were hoping to land in that tropical destination free of charge.

Have you seen that '"JetBlue" Facebook page offering free flights to "800" lucky individuals? Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not real.

One of the fake posts was shared over 70,000 times, and had nearly 50,000 page likes. How do you identify JetBlue's authentic page? Next to their name, you'll notice a little blue circle with a white check mark inside of it..

You can check out their verified page by clicking HERE.
