Do you have what it takes to play cornhole with Jerrod Niemann at FrogFest? This year's headliner has his sweatpants, headband and beer coozie ready.

Niemann says the most important thing to remember when playing cornhole is "rule number 1, you have to have fun."

I look forward to playing some cornhole, drinking some beer, playing some music. I can not paint a better day

Niemann is no stranger to the game. Not only does he have his own boards to play outside his tour bus, he's played in three of Craig Campbell's cornhole tournaments. "It's very rule oriented. He would be the guy we need to come and ref it."

After hearing he'd be taking on our cornhole champs, Niemann says he'll be brushing up on his skills. "Oh no, I'm playing champions, I usually call loser in a match. Sounds like I'm going to have to go to a couple of cornhole camps."

It isn't about winning or losing for Niemann. He's all about just having a good time. "I'm ready to throw down until we throw up. I look forward to hanging with you, playing some cornhole, drinking some beer, playing some music. I can not paint a better day."

Cornhole tournaments are held at Swifty’s Restaurant and Pub on Genesee Street in downtown Utica May 16, May 30 and June 6 from 2pm-4pm. The winner of each tournament gets five (5) VIP tickets to FrogFest June 13 at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds with transportation on the Swifty’s Party Bus and will play Niemann backstage at FrogFest. We'll randomly draw 8 contestant for each tournament at Swifty's.
