Country newcomer Jenna Jentry may be a Texas girl with a southern twang to her voice, but she's no stranger to Central New York.

Jenna's father is from Clinton and her mother was born and raised in Rome.  She usually spends the month of July on Lake Delta with her large Italian family.  So when she's home, what's her favorite thing to eat? 'Anything and everything.  All the things my tour manager doesn't want me eating.'

Jenna just finished her debut album with a new song being released to radio next month.  She describes her music as 'a mixture of Texas grit and Nashville polish.'

Even in the early stages of her career, Jenna is committed to her charity work and community. An avid supporter of the Wounded Warrior Foundation, The Fisher House and the men and women of the Armed Forces, Jenna also donates her time and performances for The Ronald McDonald House and local VA hospitals.

Jenna has her own website, she's on Twitter and Facebook as Jenna Jentry with a J not the normal spelling with a G.  'Can't be normal.  Gotta be a little fun.'  Just from the few minutes I spoke with Jenna, I could tell she was anything but normal, which is a good thing.  Normal is boring.

Hopefully Jenna is ready to get the crowd at MKJ Farm ready for The Band Perry August 4th. 'I'm really excited. I'm a big fan of theirs so its going to be a great show.  Right from there I go straight to open up for Travis Tritt then Scotty McCreery.  I'm ready to get the crowd nice and rowdy.'

Gates open at 3pm August 4th for The Band Perry at MKJ Farm in Deansboro with Jenna Jentry and Kristen Kelly.  Get all the details HERE.
