JAY LENO and JIMMY FALLON teamed up to address the 'Tonight Show' speculation in a special skit that aired between their shows.

After the 'Tonight Show,' there was a scripted segment where Fallon gets a call from Leno, who pops up as, 'Host of Tonight Show' on Fallon's caller ID.

Fallon asks how Leno has been holding up and he replies, 'I'll live. I've been through this before, you know. Gotta admit, I'm getting a little sick of all this.'

Check out some of the lyrics.

Fallon: 'Tonight, tonight, who's gonna host 'Tonight'? Is it gonna be Jimmy or Jay? Tonight, tonight, where will they tape 'Tonight'? In New York? Will it stay in L.A.?'

Leno: 'Tonight, tonight, my ratings were all right. 20 years and I'm still in first place. Tonight, tonight, I've got Fox on the line. Or maybe I could take over for Dave!'

Leno and Fallon together: 'Tonight, tonight, why do they say we fight? I like you, you like me, we're okay. Tonight, tonight, who cares who hosts 'Tonight'? People just watch online the next day!'

So it was all light-hearted. Although Leno took another shot at NBC in his monologue. He said, 'Before we get started, let me say NBC and I have reached a peaceful, amicable agreement that will be beneficial to both sides . . .April Fools! It will never happen.'

Meanwhile, JIMMY KIMMEL joked about the situation too. He began his monologue with the line, 'I'm here to tell you 'The Tonight Show' has been canceled. Oh, April Fools!'
