Jason Aldean Raises $315,000 To Help Fight Breast Cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Jason Aldean stepped up to plate big time recently to raise $315,000 for the Susan G. Koman For the Cure organization. According to his website his Friday night show at the Roanoke Civic Center was his sixth annual “Concert For the Cure”.
“This is one of my favorite things we do all year and taking it on the road to other cities has been huge in helping us bring in more money for Komen . All of the money we raised will go to the local Roanoke effort, allowing them to give free mammograms to those who can’t afford it. We’ll pick a different spot for next year and try to beat it. October is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part! Seeing an arena filled with pink is just a really cool thing!”
