It’s not much, but a snippet of the music video for Jason Aldean‘s new song ‘Fly Over States’ is sure to have his fans leaning into the weekend a little more than normal. The just-released clip shows Aldean amongst abandoned airplanes at an airport outside of Nashville, but it’s only a taste of what’s to come — the full reel won’t drop in full until Friday (March 16).

Last month, Aldean revealed that he’d chosen the airplane graveyard at the Smyrna, Tenn. airport to film the majority of the video. “We always seem to find stuff like this,” Aldean told the Tennessean. “My director, Wes Edwards … is really good at finding stuff like this that looks like crap and making it look really, really cool on film.”

‘Fly Over States’ the fifth single from ‘My Kinda Party,’ and the singer says he’s currently working on music for his next studio album. The full video will premiere early in the day (fingers crossed!) at CMT, but you’ll be able to watch it here on Taste of Country as well.

Last week, it was announced that Aldean would perform at the ACM Awards on April 1. He’s also nominated for the Entertainer of the Year award.
