Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr Make First Public Appearance at CMT Music Awards [PHOTOS]

Jason Aldean stepped out in public for the first time with Brittany Kerr, the woman he was caught kissing in 2012. The scandal ended his marriage with Aldean and his wife separating in March 2013 and filing for divorce in April 2013.

Kerr has been seen backstage at a recent Aldean concerts and Aldean's rep told Taste of Country, the two started dating after Aldean's divorce. But this is the first time they've officially stepped out in public as a couple at the CMT Music Awards.

Aldean apologized to his fans after the scandal broke but fans aren't happy the two are dating.

TMZ was the first to post photos of Kerr and Aldean getting close in a bar back in 2012.

Last summer, Aldean sat down with Robin Roberts to discuss his marriage and the problems that started long before the cheating scandal broke. There’s was things going on in my marriage at the time. I wasn’t really happy. You go out and let your guard down a little bit. It’s hard enough to deal with it in private.’
