James Wesley surprised the crowd at Wild West FrogFest and Rodeo at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds in Frankfort, NY by arriving for his performance on a tractor.

What many may not know, is what a pro James really is.  After a miscommunication, James arrived only 20 minutes before he had to hit the stage. I'll admit I started to panic a bit.  But he changed clothes, got his band to do a quick sound check, and managed to make it to the front of the fairgrounds to ride a tractor from Whites Farm Supply to the stage.  Where he found time to sign the dash, I don't know.

Wesley not only brought our two 'Thank a Farmer' winners on stage, he spent time with them backstage, talking for quite some time.  Congrats to the Mierek farm and By Design.

After his performance, you'd think James would want to take a minute to catch his breath.  Instead, he signed autographs and took pictures with fans for HOURS.  He was STILL there when Tadpole & I left at 10pm and he was lovin' every minute of it! James even got to meet ELVIS.

No James, THANK YOU for not only a great performance on stage, that was totally on the fly, but for recognizing our farmers and just being a GREAT guy.  Hear his interview and watch his performance below, arriving on the tractor and all.
