The knockout rounds have begun on 'The Voice,' with Taylor Swift as guest mentor. #TeamBlake suffered two blows as James David Carter took on Griffin and Jessie Pitts went up against Tanner Linford, sending two home and two through to the live rounds.

James David Carter vs Griffin

A surprise match-up for Blake Shelton, with surprising song choices. Griffin, who Blake stole during the battle rounds, chose Justin Bieber's 'As Long As You Love Me.'  Country hopeful James David Carter picked James Taylor's 'You've Got a Friend,' which sounds wrong, but worked.  Blake even thought it was an odd choice, but admitted being wrong. 'The first time I've been wrong on the show.' Although Adam Levine disagreed.

The choice was a no brainer, as Shelton stuck with Carter to move into the live rounds.

Jessie Pitts vs Tanner Linford

It was the battle of second chances as Tanner Linford, who's second blind audition landed him a spot on #TeamBlake, took on Jessie Pitts, who Blake stole during the battle rounds. Pitts put her unique spin on Elton John's 'Your Song,' making former coach Gwen Stefani tear up. Little Linford was on cloud nine after Taylor Swift called him cute, but his performance of 'Calling All Angels' wasn't enough to move him into the next round. It did catch Train's attention though.

The knockout rounds continue tonight at 8 on NBC.
