It’s Red Panda-Monium At The Rosamond Gifford Zoo
The Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse just welcomed twin baby Red Panda cubs!
The cubs were born on June 21 to the Zoo's own Red Pandas, Mom Tabei and Dad Ketu.
The twins, both boys are named Loofah and Doofah, from "The Land Before Time," films. The names being picked from that film are a nod to the Zoo's Dinosaur Invasion exhibit.
Syracuse.com says the cubs are being hand-raised by their keepers for the time being because their mother Tabei is having a difficult time caring for them on her own.
You can see Loofah and Doofah in the Zoo's Veterinary Clinic where they're being bottle fed 4 times a day.
