It's National Hostess Twinkies Day, a salute to the cream filled sponge cake that was invented in Illinois in 1930.

Ritchy Koph came up with name after seeing a Twinkie Toe Shoes billboard in St Louis.

Twinkie sales dropped in 2011 as more people began eating healthier, forcing Hostess to file bankruptcy. The company temporarily shut down production in 2012. Thankfully Twinkies returned to store shelves in July 2013 in smaller sizes with less calories. But if you're eating a Twinkie, are you really concerned about the calories?

What's your junk food guilty pleasure? For me it's chocolate. Any chocolate. But those Easter Cream Eggs top the list. Maybe it's because you can't get them year round. The hardest part is eating just one.
