It’s County Fair and Fried Food Season

It’s county fair season, which means it’s also deep-fried food season. Sure, you could go old school and just get a funnel cake, which is pretty much fried bread dough. But, oh so good. Or, you could get out on the leading edge and try the latest fried experiment – deep fried cereal. It’s made with Trix and Cinnnamon Toast Cursh and deuted at the Saan Diego fair. It’s topped off with drizzled syrup.
Not fattening enough for you? How about fried butter or fried beer. Both are being fried up at county fairs across the country.
I’m partial to the funnel cake with powdered sugar. It’s difficult for me to pass a stand and not get one. What’s fried food have you tried?
Try something new or stick with the yearly favorite at several county fairs this summer that include entertainment, rides, games and fun for the whole family.
